What this site records
Every page loads Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-21X8QENBDX, from /ga.js on this site. It sends a page view for the page you opened. It loads for every visitor, including a visitor in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, and a visit whose country can't be detected. The country gate does not apply to it.
Microsoft Clarity does not load for visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, or whose country can't be detected. That is decided on the server from the country Cloudflare reports for each request, before the loader is sent. A skipped visitor's browser does not contact clarity.ms. There is no consent banner.
A first-party counter logs pageviews, how far down a page people read, and which source hosts they click through to, and it keeps a visitor id in the browser. The longer account of all three is the privacy notice.
Nothing is for sale
As of 19 October 2026 there are no ads, no affiliate links and nothing for sale on these pages. Funding, and the limit I have put on any future sponsor, is stated on the about page.
